Originally the end room of this large house, the object here was to make it the centre of the home . We created several designs for this kitchen but all were hindered by the large original window overlooking the pool area . We overcame this by removing the window and replacing it with a letter box style glass splash back which allowed for views over the pool. Tall units were placed at either side housing the ovens and refrigerators and wine cooler. A large central island with a bespoke stainless steel worktop incorporating a large gas burner and sink for a steaming hot tap. The perimeter walls were used to set 1800mm wide double drawer units with internal lighting, and extra tall wall units. Italian stone worktops were imported and used to create texture, and above the gas burner we used a double flush ceiling mounted remote controlled extractor. Italian porcelain tiles were installed on the floor to complement the colours of the kitchen. Above the table area at the end of the island we positioned an Italian pendant light and stunning leather de Sede chairs to add contrast to the kitchen.
